Nicola London - Yoga, Pilates and Movement  DIrection

Nicola has a movement practice which extends for over 20 years and began with an interest in dance and movement as a child. Nicola continued this fascination and has worked professionally as a dancer, choreographer, and movement director. Nicola has always had a deep intertest in the body-mind connection and first started exploring this through dance, theatre, and art/photography. 

Since 2015, Nicola has immersed herself in different movement styles and pedagogies.  Nicola has a MA in movement direction and teaching for actors, is a 500 RYT yoga teacher (specialising in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga), a qualified mat and dynamic Pilates instructor, and a level 3 personal trainer. 

Nicola is an avid learner, and draws upon her vast experience to form safe, creative sequences that aim to rebalance one’s body and mind through a combination of strength and flexibility. 

Nicola believes mindful movement such as dance, yoga and Pilates is a form of healing; having a daily movement practice has enabled her to face and resolve challenges throughout her life. Nicola is dedicated to sharing the physical and spiritual benefits of movement with all those that attend her group classes or private 1:1 sessions.
